About this project

Situated in the heart of London within Farringdon’s neighbourhood, Mount Pleasant is an exciting new development on the site of the former Royal Mail Distribution Centre; one of the largest offices in the world. The Postmark flagship scheme seeks to integrate stylish residential living with commercial, public and open landscaped spaces in a high-profile location. Consisting of 681 homes, of which 132 will be affordable, 4000 square metres of office spaces and over 2000 square metres for retail and community use.

Cilantro Engineering have been appointed to deliver the MEP Shell & Core and Fit Out for Phoenix Place Phase 1; consisting of 214 High Spec Residential apartments over 6 blocks, 151 of which are private and the remaining 63 made up of affordable and intermediate rent apartments. We are excited to collaborate with our Blue-Chip Client Bouygues UK on this landmark development. We are proudly servicing an array of amenities through the design and installation of:

  • Energy Centre – CHP unit, 4 boilers, 6 Thermal Stores and site wide LTHW, BCWS and CHW Plant equipment and distribution
  • Chiller Units
  • BMS System
  • Smoke Extract and Environmental Systems
  • Sprinkler systems and Dry Risers
  • Heating and Cooling Controls
  • Fire Alarm System
  • Life Safety Installations
  • Control Systems: CCTV, Door Entry and Access Control
